Whatever size or shape of dog you're looking for, or whatever character you're after, come and meet the very special residents at The Dogs' Refuge Home in Shenton Park.
Our not-for-profit organisation relies almost entirely on donations to continue our work. Please consider helping us to save more of Perth's unwanted and abandoned dogs.
At the Dogs' Refuge Home in Shenton Park we love dogs and are committed to saving them. In fact we save hundreds of unwanted, neglected, abandoned and abused dogs every year.
With around 100 beautiful four legged friends in our care at any one time, chances are your next addition to the family is waiting patiently for you. And with so many abandoned dogs desperate for a second chance at a happy life, consider visiting us before you go to a pet shop or breeder.
If you love dogs then please help us. Take advantage of our dog and puppy training classes; use our boarding services; consider giving a donation or buy some merchandise at our online store. We can't thank you enough for caring!
Please note, that all adoption enquiries must arrive prior to 3pm to allow sufficient time to go through the adoption process.
You can get the latest Refuge updates by visiting our Facebook page.

We are holding our second annual Home Open fundraiser on Sunday 2 November, from 10.30am to 3.00pm, with a host of events set to suit both two and four legged visitors.
The Home Open is a great way for people to support Perth’s homeless dogs – as well as to enable those who have never visited to have a sticky beak around the shelter. There will be dozens of stalls for both man's best friend - and his or her owner - with a range of items for pampered pooches as well as home-made cake stalls, raffles, hydrobaths and a mega jumble sale.
We’ll also have over 100 dogs waiting to meet our visitors and we’re hoping that some might even grab their new owners attention!
The 2014 Annual General Meeting of the Dogs' Refuge Home of WA Inc will be held on the 30 October 2014 at 7.00pm.
Venue: Hollywood Subiaco Bowling Club, 42 Smyth Road, Nedlands, WA, 6009
We're always looking for dog lovers who are able to volunteer their time to walk our dogs or help with their care. It would be great if you could spare some time.
Many of our dogs do not cope well in a kennel environment because of stress or even depression. We always need foster carers to take in these special dogs.
Our qualified trainers are now running classes for both adult dogs and puppies. Have a look at how these classes will benefit you and your dog.
