Whatever size or shape of dog you're looking for, or whatever character you're after, come and meet the very special residents at The Dogs' Refuge Home in Shenton Park.
Our not-for-profit organisation relies almost entirely on donations to continue our work. Please consider helping us to save more of Perth's unwanted and abandoned dogs.
At the Dogs' Refuge Home in Shenton Park we love dogs and are committed to saving them. In fact we save hundreds of unwanted, neglected, abandoned and abused dogs every year.
With around 100 beautiful four legged friends in our care at any one time, chances are your next addition to the family is waiting patiently for you. And with so many abandoned dogs desperate for a second chance at a happy life, consider visiting us before you go to a pet shop or breeder.
If you love dogs then please help us. Take advantage of our dog and puppy training classes; use our boarding services; consider giving a donation or buy some merchandise at our online store. We can't thank you enough for caring!

HUGE NEWS!!!! DOCKERS stars Chris Mayne and Paul Duffield will be joining our team and our dogs in the Dog House this Saturday.
We are so incredibly grateful to Chris and Paul of the Fremantle Football Club and to Tate Family Foundation who will be matching donations up to $25,000! Be sure to come down and visit them!
Please sponsor Chris and Paul and show how much we appreciate their support and feel free to come down and visit on the day – from 10.30 to 2.30pm
If you love dogs and you love the Dockers - there’s only one place to be this Saturday!
This Saturday, 7th December, our friends at Houndstooth Studio will be joining Santa for our annual, and hotly anticipated, SANTA PAWS photo sessions. Join us at the Refuge from 10.30am and for a donation of just $25 (or a bit more if you’re keen to donate extra to help our dogs) your pooch can have a photo with Santa.
Early next week you will receive a high-resolution digital version of the photo, which you can then use to make Christmas cards or print out and frame.
We're always looking for dog lovers who are able to volunteer their time to walk our dogs or help with their care. It would be great if you could spare some time.
Many of our dogs do not cope well in a kennel environment because of stress or even depression. We always need foster carers to take in these special dogs.
Our qualified trainers are now running classes for both adult dogs and puppies. Have a look at how these classes will benefit you and your dog.
