For the third year in a row, BHP Billiton Iron Ore employee James Pregnell is taking the lead in our major fundraising campaign, the 30/30 Challenge.

This year James has encouraged two colleagues to participate in the event, which will see Gabriel Gnavi and Jeremy Thornett join him in walking 30 of the Refuge's dogs for 30 minutes each for a total distance of 30 kilometres on Saturday 25 June from 9.00am.
And because there are three team members involved in the fundraiser this year, we have an amazing opportunity to raise even more money.
But we need your help and are urging all of our supporters to make a donation and help us to make a difference to the many abandoned and stray dogs in Perth.
Each employee can raise up to $50,000 which will then be matched by BHP Billiton so please show your support for the team (and of course our dogs) by donating now.
You can also help out by emailing around the flyer to let you friends know about the challenge - even post it up on the noticeboard in your office.
Well done guys, and thanks to BHP for matching every dollar. More companies need to contribute to the community in this way. Have a fantastic time and good luck with the fundraising for this brilliant organisation.

Yes - the event is one that people can attend. The BHP boys would love to see everyone down there to support them!
It is being held at the Refuge in Lemnos Street from 9.00am onwards. There will be a BBQ on from around 10.30am too.
