An update on Oompah's recovery

When I picked up Oompah, three weeks ago she was a little scared and not quite sure what to make of her new home.

It didn't take her long to settle in and we decided to go on a camping trip with a her new dog friend, ' Fly '  and a group of new human friends. They saw their first kangaroo, although I didn't have my camera there at the time.

She loved running by the lake at Warruna Campsite - a great dog friendly camping spot. She blends in really well with the environment! She also loved chillin on her bed next to the fire. (It gets cold quick when you don't have a coat!!! )

She is going for walks to lots of different places around Perth and has met some very different kinds of friends.

As the treatment is getting her better, she is coming out of her shell more and more and becoming even more happy and confident. Her eyes and ears all cleared up and with her good diet of awesome healthy dog biscuits, fresh meaty bones (once a week), omega 3, medical wash, vet shots and freshly made oatmeal talc powder (to stop the itch), her hair is slowly growing back.

It's all worth it, to see such a beautiful, loving, wonderfully natured girl get back to where she needs to be.

  • Thank you for rescuing this beautiful animal, Oompah is so lucky that someone can give her a new start in life. Kindness goes a long way, and I personally am so grateful that there are people in the world that love all creatures big or small that need a friend to love them.
