Bella and Rebel are wishing for their forever home for Christmas

Our vollie, Gaye, had the opportunity to give the beautiful duo, Bella and Rebel, a much needed break from the kennel environment and it turned to be a fabulous 2 nights.

Bella & Rebel

Gaye reported that they both travelled well in the car and the doggy seat belts kept them safe & secure. Rebel needed a hand getting in and out of the car, but at his age, it's understandable. She used a foot stool to help him get himself in.

Rebel is an obedient, polite and gentle soul. He surprised Gaye when he waited to be invited past the baby gate in her house. He wasn't overly comfortable with having doggies next door but then again neither are her own two dogs. After some 'fence jogging and unsure growling (a warning sign to communicate uncertainty), she kept him on the lead during yard time & toilet breaks to help him gradually adjust to the new surroundings.

Even more surprising was how quiet they were when the neighbourhood doggy, Patch or Mr. Walkabout paid her a visit one morning. Both dogs didn't bark or carry on.

They were great on walks and Rebel loves feeling the grass under his feet and just chilling. Bella is an intelligent girl who loves her ear rubs and massages to help her fall asleep. She loves her toys and she too looks out for Rebel. Both doggies love walks, visitors, quiet time and lots of a TLC.

Gaye says she would love to have them over again, but would much rather they find their forever homes in time for Christmas!
