Blue's new home is a lap of luxury

We adopted “Blue” in May 2010. Some might remember he was featured in the Post with Helen Norton promoting her art auction for the home.

When we lost our dog Mitzi, we vowed that we would adopt a dog. It was on our first visit that we noticed Blue, how could we not he was so handsome. Blue had been adopted as a pup from the shelter and returned when he was 6 – we had to have him! His ears were fly blown, callouses on his elbow and his teeth were in a shocking state from a bad diet. Good news – ear fur has re grown, callouses gone, teeth still not brilliant but oh what a diet he’s on now.

From what was an outside dog, Blue now lives in luxury inside the house with his own bed by the open fire and surrounded by his precious toys.

He’s great and we wouldn’t be without him!

  • What a fabulous new life you have given Blue. Honestly, I would never have known, by looking at him, that his life before you was so terrible.
Blue now has a life of love and luxury.
Thank you so much for giving him such a great new start.

  • Alison Blue is a work of art himself! He looks so happy by the fire and you are obviously spoiling him rotten - we are so grateful you adopted him and can only hope all our dogs find such a loving home!
