Brian transforms his inner devil

After five years of incessant begging and pleading, my mother and father finally agreed to get me a dog. My ex-babysitter, Sally, and I went to the Shenton Park Dog Refuge every weekend for over two months. Finally, after a lot of searching we found and brought home Brian on 2 December 2009.

At first he was an angel - timid, shy, quiet and obedient - well at least that's how he appeared! Then in the next week or so Brian started making some subtle changes to his behaviour and then around a month later he started revealing his inner devil. Brian was a nightmare for the next five months. It was horrendous! Waking up at 5.00am, having to put up with his howling, the digging in the garden, the chewing on the lead, the running away in the park and much, much more!

But then he slowly started improving, he was still very naughty but then bit by bit he was getting better. Then about three months later he started responding and loving us! Of course he still has his little adventures and talks a lotbut he has improved dramatically and is a very obedient and desirable dog now.

It took a lot of training and patience to transform our demon into an angel and now every time he leaves we all have an empty feeling inside us.
