Your Invitation to Give a Dog a Second Chance at Life

We are fully self-funded through our shelter operations and the very generous support of the public and business.

Despite finding more new homes for dogs every year than any other shelter in Perth, we do not receive any support from the government.

Before offering our dogs for adoption we undertake thorough veterinary and behavioural assessments. All new arrivals are vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed and sterilised as part of the adoption process and every animal in our care aged over 16 weeks receives basic obedience training.

Any dogs who arrive with behavioural problems also receive remedial training before being re-homed.

Your support through a regular monthly pledge will greatly assist us in continuing to offer the best possible care and support to our dogs before we find their new forever home.

Our Costs

Your donation will make a difference to supporting our significant operational (excluding staff) and vet costs. Here's just a sample of our costs and what your donation will support:

  • A New Dog Vet Package = $60 (includes vet check, microchip and vaccination)
  • Sterilisation = $180 to $200 per dog
  • Dogs Beds = $140 per month
  • Utility Costs = $2,600 per month (electricity, phone, water)
  • Operational Costs = $4,400 per month (kennel costs including clinic supplies, cleaning and equipment)

You are in control of your account and can nominate the amount you wish to give each month, the date you give and best of all you have control over your annual statements and receipts for tax purposes.

Give Now provides this service free of charge to not for profit organisations. The only fees that will be incurred are credit card transaction fees that are deducted at a rate of just 1%.
