Clove's bubbly personality shines through

Thank you so much for Clove! She seems to have settled in well with us, and is such a cute, sweet little dog. The assessor was right, "a gem of a dog". 'Clove' suits her, but it became 'Cloey' when I called her so now we call her Chloe, which we think also suits her bubbly personality.

Isn't she beautiful? I love the way she power-walks when she's in a hurry, her head and ears bobbing up and down in a most business-like manner. I also love the way she uses her front paws like hands to manipulate and hold things.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions. After a few growls at Choco through the fence (thanks for that suggestion Beth - we found a good spot at the side of the house) and in the park, she played the perfect hostess, leading him inside, letting him drink from her water bowl and sharing treats with him. She loves her morning spoon of yoghurt (thanks Tracy!), and gets to lick the tub when its empty, but doesn't much like the face cleanup that must follow. She loves going out walking now too (thanks for that also Tracy).

We're off to classes on Sunday afternoons in February - unfortunately January classes were booked out, and I'm working on Tuesday evenings. Hopefully she'll learn to like dogs as much as people!

She's coming back to stay as a boarder in March.

You're all doing a great job!
