With only 7 days to go until our biggest fundraiser, the 30/30 Challenge, we decided to get out and about to help raise some money towards the campaign. And what better way then one of our famous City Farmers BBQs. So today, we set up shop at City Farmers' Wembley store and cooked up a storm!

The afternoon team ready to cook up a storm

Joining our afternoon shift was our longest term resident, Tyler, who enjoyed his fair share of sausages! Tyler really should be in a loving home of his own and he always impresses the crowds when he's out and about. He's perfectly behaved when he's out, loves other dogs and is great with cats.

We are desperate to raise as much funds as possible in this 30/30 Challenge, so we're urging everyone to get on board and donate - and don't forget, all donations will be matched by BHP Billiton dollar for dollar.

We'd like to say a big thanks to all our vollies who helped out with the BBQ and Kate from the Cat Haven for taking these pics.

You can also help out by emailing around the flyer to let you friends know about the challenge - even post it up on the noticeboard in your office.
