Hi to all my friends back at my first home, my name is Tex, formerly known as Harry, formerly known as the deaf puppy - excuse me, hearing impaired puppy - who lived in the office.

My owners picked me up about 6 months ago and we have been having the best fun together. As a puppy I wasn't up all night coz I sleep through anything! I have a new big sister now, her name is Rogan and we play then sleep then play and swim then sleep. I am a stumpy-tailed cattle dog cross and don't have a tail so I enjoy chasing Rogan and biting hers a lot, she doesn't enjoy it though (but I never hurt her, really).
It's no harder to train me, even though I'm deaf to the world. Hand signals are all I need to understand and I'm actually now better behaved than Rogan. I love to swim and go for my walks, one in the morning with Mum, and one with Dad in the arvo.
I have added some photos so you can see how big I am now. The first photo I've sent was when I was still a puppy and the other is after our Saturday morning walk, watching video hits - we normally fall asleep. Nothing has changed, we love our mattress. We have a big back yard and love to walk along the river as well. I found a new passion by way of chasing sheep at the farm we go to quite often, it's so much fun. I am also learning to bark! I can't hear anyone at the door but Rogan can so when she barks I go join in, but my owners laugh at me, I can't hear so they say it sounds a bit like "wroolilisingggffttt", and they laugh every time.
I was twittering some of my pals back at Shenton Park and we agree that the best way to pick an owner is for them to come there so we can decide. Dad liked it cause it was saving me and so cheap. I still have so many friends who need to pick owners as well. Also I get fixed for free when I turn 6 months old, I don't know what that means but it must be good Dad, coz I get to see everyone again....right?
Anyway, to all the staff who looked after me in the office I say thank you, my owners are very happy and lucky to have me and I will update you soon.
Kindest regards,
Tex Beethoven Johnson

Hi Tex,
You and your sister Rogan have really got it made. What a fabulous life and family you have, and I must say you have grown into a beautiful big boy.
I hope more of your friends at Shenton Park will be as lucky as you!
