The Dogs' Refuge Home is delighted to announce that we have been chosen by professional services firm Deloitte as its Charity Partner in Perth for the 2015 financial year.

Deloitte Western Australia Office Managing Partner Michael McNulty said "Earlier this year, our employees were invited to nominate developing Western Australian registered charities to become our Charity Partner for the year. From a shortlist of nine charities, a final employee vote elected the very worthy Dogs' Refuge Home," Mr McNulty said.

"The Dogs' Refuge Home in Shenton Park has a fantastic reputation in Perth and is close to the hearts of many of our employees. Through the new WA Charity Partner of the year initiative Deloitte is able to make a meaningful, long lasting impact to the Dog's Home and the wider WA community. This is in addition to our national partnerships with Oxfam, Canteen and High Resolves.

"Our employees will be applying their professional skills to the key focus areas of the charity including strengthening the organisational foundations, HR consulting support, finance and risk management and maximising efficiencies. They will also be able to volunteer their time to assist with fundraising, dog walking, foster care and office support" he said.

Dogs' Refuge Home General Manager, Judy Flanagan, said we welcomed Deloitte's support.

"We're absolutely thrilled to have been chosen by Deloitte as its charity partner.  As an almost entirely self-funded organisation we rely heavily on volunteers to continue our work and raise funds to enable us to save over 1,000 dogs every year," Judy said.

"The benefits Deloitte can bring to our Home are huge and we're so excited about how big a difference this will potentially make to our organisation and our dogs.
