Just writing to let you know that Dudley is another one of your success stories! He has been a much loved member of our family now for 6 weeks and he is lovin it! From the moment he came home in our car, he has fit right in with myself and my two teenage kids. He had us in fits of laughter in the car journey home from the Refuge he was quick to discover the joys of window surfing (assisted) and the dopey ecstatic look on his face won us over straight away.

Dudley

Despite coming home with a rather embarrassing and undignified bucket on his head (which is enough to make anyone grumpy) Dudley has proved to be a joyful, loving, cuddly and playful boy. The bucket never once worried him and he has shown to be an obedient and well natured dog. At some stage in his life he has received some training of some form and knows and adheres to all the basic dog commands. Come our dinner time he surprised us by walking away and going to sleep whilst we were eating and has never once begged or shown interest in what we are eating. Unheard of;)

Dudley's favourite things are: cuddles, following you to the toilet, running up and down our stairs, playtime ie he is extremely fast and zippy and his favourite game is chasy with a squeaky toy, sleeping on my bed. One night I woke and opened my eyes and nearly died of fright when there on the other pillow facing me was Dudley's hairy black face, he was lying on his side paws curled up on the pillow, his face only inches from mine and fast asleep like he owned that side of the bed. Funny once I got over my fright!

Dudley is very energetic and definitely still in puppy stage. He has two walks a day, visits to the beach (oh boy did he run) and play dates with a Ridgeback, who he has happily fallen in love with.

Dudley

We have fallen in love with Dudley and all of his eccentric ways and couldnt imagine being without him already. He has walked into our lives and claimed his stake on us right from word go. A lovely little fella who hopefully will be part of our family and lives for many many years to come.

Thank you to the Refuge, who make these love stories possible and do such wonderful tireless work for the benefit of many dogs. We wish all the dogs at Shenton Park luck in having their very own success story to come.
