Effie is one you just can't let go

My partner and I adopted Effie (formally known as Crystal) last week. We had been foster caring for her for a couple of months and just fell in love with her and couldn't let her go.

Effie

She is the sweetest dog with such a big heart. She follows me around the house and is so excited whenever I come home that she runs around in circles whining and wagging her tail. She loves her "sheepy" and loves when it is "bedtime" where she always manages to squeeze herself in between my partner and I. She is like a little heater. Whenever anyone wakes up in the morning she gets so excited, the only morning type I know. She loves her monkey toy with which she has chewed to pieces and pulled out most of the stuffing. She loves playing with me and my partner and loves smelling everyone and everything she can get her nose on. She is so clever, we just ask her if she needs to go to the toilet and she runs around in circles whining and wagging her tail if she does.

I feel so lucky to have found such a loving dog for a companion and a new family member. Even though she didn't have the best start in life she has so much love to give and appreciates us even more for taking her into our homes and our lives. She is the funniest little dog and has brought much happiness to myself and my partner. Everyone that has met her adores her and thinks she is the cutest thing. She is such a vibrant energetic dog and my partner and I love having her around, it feels like she's been with us forever.

We really appreciate all the help that Karen gave us when adopting her and we are so glad she gave her to us to foster. We are very grateful to have found the perfect companion.
