"My husband an I adopted Evie on 19/12/2015 and we just wanted to give you a quick update on how she is doing.
We decided to keep the name Evie as we 'fell in love with the girl named Evie'.

On paper it says we adopted Evie but we think in reality she adopted us. The moment we got Evie in the car to bring her home we knew we had a keeper. She's so loving and loyal and is happy all the time. She definitely filled a hole in our small family.

Evie has come a long way with her training already. She is great at commands such as sit, stay, paw. She sleeps great in her own bed at night and She is a pleasure to walk on the lead. she doesn't pull and happily walks by your side. She has a long way to go off the lead (especially if there's other dogs around as she just wants to play) she's not great at coming back when we call her but that will come in time with more training I'm sure.

She adores other dogs, she's met with our friends dogs (4 different doggy friends) and gets along great with them all (she's even fell a little bit in love with Buster). We went away camping for the New Year and Evie had an amazing time, running around on the beach, diving into the sea, playing with her friends and even getting to share the tent with her new mum and dad.

My husband and I can't thank the dog refuge enough for allowing us to bring our beautiful girl home. We are all so happy and just hope more dogs end up in a loving home like Evie now has."
