Fritz is a typical 'dobe'

On 20 October, this year we adopted a young doberman (then named Quartz) from you who we called Fritz.  He was quite underweight and (understandably) unsettled.

I thought you might like to see the attached pix of him now and let you know that he has put on about 6kg, loves the beach and is making great progress working thru' all his "issues" with formal training and lots of love.  He is definitely a typical dobe with his pushiness, stickybeaking and weirdo ways - we just love him and he gives us lots of laughs everyday.

The kids love him and he is settling in really well.  Once he completes his basic obedience training I'm planning to start him at  agility training which should give him lots to think about and I reckon he will be in heaven prancing about and showing off.

So, from all of us, thankyou for entrusting him to our family.

Merry Christmas to all your staff, volunteers and dogs (I hope they all get adopted soon)

  • Fritz is a very lucky dobe to have found this family to be part of.

  • Well Fritz, you have really got it made, a fantastic new home and two gorgeous little boys to grow up with.

  • It is great to hear how Fritz is settling well. He is looking very relaxed. Thanks for sharing.
