Garth has THREE new families

To all the pups and volunteers at Shenton Park,

It’s Garth here, I’m not sure how many of you will remember me, but I lived at your home for a little while at the start of January 2011. I just wanted to write you all a quick letter and let you all know how I am doing!

Life is wonderful for me now, I have not one but THREE families who are all madly in love with me! I live with my Mummy and Daddy, and then on the weekends we all go and visit my Grandparents and Aunties, where I have even more people to rub my belly! I have also made my very own BFF, her name is Muffin and she lives with my Mummy’s family – when I go to visit her on the weekends we get to go for a walk along the doggy beach, and I even go for a swim now to!!

I’ve been learning  all sorts of new tricks, I can sit, stay and roll, and have mastered puppy dog eyes.  My people’s favourite trick is that I now know how to play with my squeaky toys, although my favourite thing to do is attack my doggy bed!

I have a lovely big backyard, although there have been a few instances where a naughty bird has tried to invade – don’t worry though, I’m very good at chasing them away. Mummy and I have also convinced Daddy that the best place for a Garth Monster to sleep is IN the bed, with my head on the pillow! Now every morning I snuggle up to whoever stays in bed the longest, and we have a lovely sleep in! My favourite is when I am staying over at Nanna and Grandads house, because my 2 aunties sleep until lunchtime!!!

Mummy and Daddy are taking me to puppy school to practice playing nicely, hopefully sometime in the next year I will be getting a brother or sister from Shenton Park to keep me company if my people go out.
