Hamish takes some time to relax

Maria and I thought we'd give you an update on how Jack (Hamish) is doing.

We've had him for 6 weeks now and from the very beginning he's been a big softy. Only had a couple of old puppy bad behaviours which are already under control after some simple reward training along with his ongoing group training that is really showing results.

Now he's relaxed and in his own home it turns out he's very good with other dogs and more importantly young children (always supervised and controlled of course). We think he just needed a family of his own to show his softer side. Actually it's hard to stop him wanting to cuddle us whenever we sit or lie down, which to be honest we like. He also loves a good play and has already gone through 3 toy ducks!

Even though Maria and I have had dogs in the past, Jack is our first rescue dog. Everyone including Maria and I are really surprised at how well mannered he is. As he's so clever it hasn't taken us long to develop those manners into what's beginning to be an extremely well rounded and well behaved dog. All that aside though, he has truly enriched our lives and more importantly we hope we have his.

We've attached some photos to give you an idea of how he's doing. Thank you for taking care of him for so long. Once Jack is completely settled we may look to get him a companion from you!

Kind Regards
