Happy Jack's positive effect

Happy New Year to all at the Dogs Home, just to let you know how well Jack has settled in with us. He has a new best friend named Tessa. They love their walks and their chicken frames and are never far from each other's side.

Happy Jack's positive effect

Jack is a very polite, easy going boy who is always eager to please, especially when treats are involved! We love having him and he has given our existing dog (his girlfriend) a new lease on life. She is a much calmer, happier dog since Jack moved in.

Thanks to all the staff and volunteers at the Dogs Home, we couldn't be happier with our new boy and the process we went through to get him. Thanks for all the time and care you put into the dogs, they sure appreciate it, as do we.

Fabricio and Cathy and Jack and Tessa.

  • SO pleased that Jack has a loving home, particularly since he was brought back by his owners after having him for quite a few years. I'm a volunteer at the DRH, and had been walking him before and after his first placement, and he was one of my favourites. I agree with everything you say about him......he is one beautiful boy.

  • I saw your comment about Axel.
I also adopted a brindle dog who had been at Shenton Park dog home, his name is Cooper and we all love him to bits. I don't understand anybody not wanting to adopt a dog because of it's colour.
Your Jack really looks like a lovely boy and how lucky he is to have both of you and of course Tessa.
I hope Axel gets a home soon as he has been there far too long. Fingers crossed that someone will come to take him home soon!
