Helen Norton is pleased to offer three Artist Made Limited Editions for auction for the Winter Warmer Quiz Night.

Dgs Bluff

The pieces offered are:

Dogs Bluff - 55 x 75 cm Artists Screenprint - from the 'Bye Bye Sunfly' series of works in 2000 - which was an investigation into a difficult yet poignant relationship between an auditor from the city attempting to get an old aboriginal woman to conform to systematic processes in a very remote area of Australia.

Hero - 38 x 53 cm Hand Coloured Artists LTD Collograph - an original artists plate celebrating the majestic strength in the beast - from the series "Mad Cows and Men".

The First Fish - 70 x 73 cm - Artists Screenprint from a series of works celebrating rites of passage and childhood simplicity from when Norton was living in the Kimberley's with her two very young sons.

"Its normal for editions to go on for many years from when an original was painted and LTD eds are not always connected to an original, or are different to it because of the medium used to emulate the image. These are considered collectable and do increase in value like original artwork", says Helen.

These pieces have been placed on matting but are unframed. Suggested value is from $1000 to $1500 per piece. All pieces will be auctioned. To place a bid or enquire about purchase please contact Lee-Anne on 0419 903 646 or events@dogshome.org.au

The First Fish

All proceeds to Dogs Refuge Home Winter Warmer Appeal.
