Holly needs a Home!

Holly was one of the most nervous dogs we'd ever seen when she arrived at our home over 12 months ago. For the first few months she just sat in her kennel, shaking and avoiding eye contact with staff and volunteers.

However in the time she's been with us she has gained confidence and now, once she trusts you, she transforms into the most loving playful dog who enjoys being goofy and showing her true self.

She loves chasing the ball and having fun but will also settle really quickly. While she is playing her face lights up and she almost appears to be giggling but once she's had enough silliness she does like her own space.

Holly loves to go for drives in the car and easily falls asleep on the back seat. She is great on the lead but doesn't feel comfortable if a stranger approaches. She would make a beautiful companion for a gentle owner who understands her fearfulness and would enjoy playing in the yard or a quiet oval (on the lead).

Despite her terrible experiences at the start of her life - which is why she is so fearful - underneath lies a fun loving, beautiful girl that is desperate for a home of her own. If you think you can give Holly a safe and happy home for life please call the Home on 9381 8166 between 10am and 4pm daily
