Jasper the little prince

A big hello from Jasper (I used to be called Felix, but that's a cat's name!) I wanted to tell you how happy I am in my new home. When Mum and Dad took me in last year I was skinny and stressed, having been rescued from a pound and taken to the Refuge. Everyone was really nice to me there and I was allowed in the office most days, as I'm rather sensitive. I'll never forget their kindness.

Jasper the little prince

I love to cuddle up so much so that I get to sleep on the king-sized bed with Mum and Dad, even though Dad didn't think that was a good idea at first (I soon won him over). Mum calls me her 'little prince'. Every morning, she takes me walking in the bush with her 'little princess' (Emme, also from the Refuge) - so many interesting smells and sounds and places to run. We live on an acre and a half in the Hills, with no fences, but I'm smart enough to know that I should never go further than the boundary of our block without permission or Mum gets worried.

Dad and Mum reckon the Refuge is marvellous and have adopted from them several times over the years. They can't imagine life without an animal or five, and I can't imagine any life better than the one I have now. If you're reading this, please consider offering one or more of the lovely dogs at the Refuge a forever home. They'll love you so much in return.
