week on

Well it’s been close to a week since we decided to adopt Jez, (Jezebel) and make her a part of our family.

So far since last Saturday, Jez has had morning and evening walks, been on multiple outings in the car, and enjoyed a relaxing morning sitting at the burns beach café with her new mum and dad. She also got to walk around city farmers in Joondalup and smell all the treats and show how well behaved she is. So far her tennis ball count is Jez 2 – Tennis ball 0, though her Kong is still winning the fight of her chewing ability.

Jez has found a loving stable home full of pats, hugs and praise. Her tail never stops wagging, even if it is hitting the wall or fridge, and she loves her new indoor and her outdoor beds, and can often be found sprawled out on either one, quietly snoring.

Credit has to go to you all at the staff at the refuge and her previous owners for her temperament, obedience and awesome toilet training. We only have to ask or tell her once and she remembers and obeys, even the simplest of things.. She is a true champion and it is beyond both my wife and I why she was ever given up in the first place.

Thank you Shenton Park for introducing us to her.
