Laddy is central to his new family

Laddy has now been with us for six weeks and has become very much part of our family.

He loves to go for a ride in the car and be taken for walks; new places and traffic noises do not bother him. He socialises with other dogs and people without any aggression. Right from the start he decided that his sleeping place should be beside our bed (we suspect he gets on it when we leave him to mind the house).

There have been no problems with toilet or cleanliness but he is a fussy eater; we are still learning what he likes and dislikes in the way of food - something he consumes eagerly one day he will turn up his nose at the following day! He enjoys having a bone to chew but prefers to bury it in the garden before he finishes dealing with it.

Nancy particularly enjoys his company after grieving for a year over the loss of our previous dog who had been with us for twelve years. Jonathan takes Laddy for a  walk on most days, so they both benefit from the activity. Thank you for rescuing him and pairing him with us.
