Leo's thoughts on his new life

Hi, I thought I'd let you know how I'm doing. I've been with my pack for 2.5 years now, and they could simply not do without me. My pack consists of the Big one, the Little one, the Nasty one (who has very sharp claws), the Princess (a cute shepherd girl who joined the pack a few weeks ago) and me.

Leo's thoughts on his new life

I take Little for walks every morning and I take Big to the park every afternoon where I keep them entertained by playing squeaky ball soccer with them. The exercise is good for them. I like taking them to the beach or the river, where I keep retrieving the sticks they carelessly throw into the water. I often leave the balls or sticks quite some distance away from where they are going which provides them with more exercise because they seem to insist on taking the balls and sticks with them wherever they go. This means that they have to go and pick them up if I don't. This is especially good for the Big one because he doesn't seem to move very much. Unfortunately they make me have a bath afterwards, claiming that I smell - ha! I don't like the shampoo but I like playing tug with the towel. The funniest bit is when I escape from the bathroom dripping wet, and have a good shake, preferably in the lounge.

They are a very smoochy lot so I give them lots of cuddles and licks. I'm usually very quiet but I have a big bark, which I use to alert the pack to danger, for example the people who try to steal our bin every Thursday morning. So far I have always managed to have the bin returned, unfortunately without its contents, but I'm working on that.

I generously share my beautiful soft coat with my pack by leaving large amounts of hair on the sofa, in the car and and on their clothes, for which they are very grateful indeed. I have also managed to infiltrate their bed on occasions although they don't seem to want me to sleep there all night. But as there is a very nice shaggy rug on Little's side I can curl up on that thus avoiding potential conflict with Nasty who thankfully isn't allowed in the the bedroom.

My pack and I love each other heaps, and we have lots of fun together.

Lots of love from Leo
