Lewis is a sensitive soul

We just wanted to send you an update about Lewis (was Lincoln) who we adopted in May 2012.

It was a bit of a surprise at first that such a tough seeming boof could be so sensitive and it has taken a lot of hard work with various trainers to build his confidence and deal with his separation anxiety, but we are finally there! We made the move to the East Coast in May last year and he is loving it. His favourite things to do are coming along with us anywhere we go and playing silly games with his million toys...he is absolutely obsessed with toys (especially ones that squeak)!

We can't imagine life without him and he really is the perfect fur-child (he doesn't know he is a "dog"). Thanks for all the work you do, we will be forever grateful you introduced us to our  boofa.

  • Thanks for the update on Lewis.

I remember Lincoln fondly. As he was a real sweetie, with the biggest boofiest head at the Refuge.

I am so pleased to hear that he has found such a lovely family. I'm not surprised that Lewis doesn't think he is a dog.
