Maggie's lucky life

Hi... this is an update from Maggie. My old name was Collie - my owner popped in to the Shenton Park Dogs Home just for a look, and left two and a half hours later with me. That was back in 2003, when I was a funny looking 4-month old and got left at the front gate of the Dogs Home.

Maggie's lucky life

The trainer told my owner that I'd do anything for food, which hasn't changed at all - I'm very well behaved as long as the treats haven't run out (which I work out pretty easily because I am very, very smart).

Things are going well, apart from a bit of arthritis in the hips. I'm not that keen on little dogs, but my brother Jack - previously a street dog - is medium sized and pretty cool so we like to play together. My owners tell me all the time that they love me and can't imagine life without me around.

Here's a recent photo of me - as you can see, I'm happy and healthy and pretty keen on lying about in the sun... thanks again for looking after me until my owner came along. It has all turned out really well!!
