Malley lands firmly on all three feet

We first noticed Malley in September 2010 and Mannie fell in love with him straight away. Despite his 3 1/2 legs he was just running/hobbling around and was the biggest smoocher I had ever seen.

Every time I came in to walk doggies I looked for him and gave him a big cuddle, though I was so sad that he hadn´t been adopted yet, especially after his leg amputation. It took me a while to convince John, that Malley was the right dog for us and so we waited for a couple of weeks then finally adopted him on the 5th of December. We had him stay over for a whole week at our place to see if it would work.

Even John has now to admit it was the best decision we´ve made and we love him to bits. He enjoys to curl up on the couch, to chew our thongs ( i don´t know how much we´ve spent in the last months just for new thongs) to run on the beach and play with his mates and you wouldn´t even realise he's got only 3 legs. Even Malley forgets this when he fetches his toys.

Malley just enjoys his life and even when naughty you forgive him everything when he puts his head on you lap and looks at you - cute little bugger. We can´t imagine not to have him in our lifes.

Also the dogtraining with Pawprints is showing its first good results not only for Malley but also for us. It is great to see that there are 3 other Dog Refuge dogs at the dog training.

A big Thanks goes to Myrna and her husband Matt, who looked after Malley after his leg amputation and who also look after him when we are away on holidays.

We are really glad Lynda got us in touch with them.

  • Malley is a very handsome looking boy, and so lucky to find you, and now have his own home.
    Also, what a great kennel.
