Its been almost 2 years since we adopted our 2 kids from the Refudge. Matilda (Sharpei) and Tommy (Golden Retriever) were adopted exactly 1 month apart from each other! They both have 2 very different personalities and sometimes we think how do these 2 even get along. Well actually we do know, Tommy is an absolute push over, he always lets Matilda take first dibs and he would just take whatever is left over.

Matilda has been a hand full, she's like that naughty child that always gets sent to the principals office, she doesn't like small dogs at all and still doesn't! Although she has been through training and is now alot more obedient and attends social classes every second weekend. We would say her personality is very cheeky and if you didn't know her you would think she was the male in the relationship! However when she is at home, she is like a princess that snores in her bed with all her paws up in the air.

Tommy - he has no faults aside from drooling when food is around. He is the most gentle and patient dog we have ever come across. Doesn't do alot of exercise though! He spends his days lying around, eating and more lying around. When we first got Tommy he was so scared and shy he couldn't even walk to the end of our driveway. But now with Matilda leading him around he is a confident dog that always is up for adventures and car rides.

I've attached for you 2 pictures from this year - 02/06/2014 was Tommy's 3rd Birthday and 02/11/2014 was Matilda's 3rd birthday. We chose the 2nd as they both were adopted on the 2nd!
