Maximo, the well mannered Lab (when there's food around!)

Max has been with us now for over a year and to say he's settled in well is an understatement. He took to us with ease from day one and has been a top bloke to have around.  We cant imagine what it'd be like without him.

He's a sucker for the early morning walk down at the dog park in Attadale and being an inside dog  he ensures we're up and at 'em and on our way - on time! He loves a bit of toast with vegemite in the morning and whenever there's activity in the kitchen (which is a lot in our house) you can guarantee Max is close at hand (usually right at our feet). He's also been on a couple of camping trips with us and knows how to chill out on holidays.

He did have a run in with some snail pellets only a month or two after he joined us - but lived to tell the tale after some much needed (and expensive) veterinary attention. Lesson learnt there!

Getting into the festive season

He's learnt some good tricks from a couple of his mates - like fishing from the pond which entails removing the pump (while its still on) and all the plants and stones and then just waiting...patient.  He's a good fisherman!  The pumps (all three of them) didn't stand a chance (Just like the fish). And then theres the story of the pool kreepy krawly but we wont get into that.

But the smile, laughter and googly eyes all make it worth while. What a memorable and loving past year. Thank you for our new family addition. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

  • I love the morning paper & coffee shot. What a learned, scholarly & stylish dog he is too!

  • Another great story. Max is such a lucky boy to have been adopted by a family who love him. He certainly has the lifestyle too!

  • I think Max is fortunate to have landed in Lauren & Olivers home but so are they. He's well loved and a lovely dog even if he does destroy kreepy krawlis
