Manny has the sweetest little face and is a beautiful boy who enjoys human interaction. Ideally, he is best suited as an only dog. He will make a great companion and participating in group training will help to establish a bond. He is not suitable for living with children under 14 years.

Dinah

Dinah is a sweet natured girl who is eager to please and very quick to learn. She is an energetic young girl and would be an ideal running partner for an active family. She loves human company and adapts well to the home environment, especially curling up in front of the fireplace. Dinah is also already house trained ready for her new family.

Maxwell

Maxwell is a friendly, fun-loving boy who loves a dip in the pool! He will also need sunscreen or zinc applied to his nose when out and about. A basic group training course using positive methods will be an ideal way for adopters to get to know him and provide leadership. Maxwell could possibly live with a dog friend and kids over 12.

Tony is a happy-go-lucky guy who if very affectionate and loves a pat. He loves games and playing and will be an energetic companion for someone.  Tony is quite a laid back boy who loves spending time with people. Tony will be best as an only dog and could live with teenagers.

Alby is a very affectionate dog who just loves human attention. He can be a little timid at times and doesn't enjoy being left alone. He will make a very loyal companion for the right person, however is only suited to a home where someone is home most of the time.

Uma loves people and is one of the happiest dogs we have at the Refuge. She is an energetic girl and socialises well with other dogs. She is a strong girl and therefore would ideally live with adults or children over 12 years . She can be a little excitable, however she is easy to calm down and would making a very loyal and loving companion.

Max is a strong boy who has plenty of energy for play. He can be a little uncertain in new environments but will settle in time. Max and his new family would great benefit from training to establish trust and leadership. This will also help to exercise his mind as he is eager  to learn.

Ribbon

Ribbon is a sweet and affectionate girl once she overcomes initial cautiousness. She is best met out of her kennel. Ribbon could possibly live with a calm, tolerant dog skilled in doggy body language in order to let her know what is appropriate behaviour. Ribbon could live with calm teens with experience living with timid or cautious dogs.

Tyler is an extremely inquisitive and playful dog. He would enjoy having a job and therefore would do well in agility or tracking. Tyler loves toys and games and could live with a like-minded dog pending compatibility and children over 10.

Sport is a highly energetic dog that can get quite excitable, however he does calm down with gentle handling. He will make a great companion for an active and loving family, given they commit to group training to help him learn some manners. He could live with another dog pending meet and children over 13 years.

Elroy

Elroy is an inquisitive young boy who needs some confidence building and gentle guidance through positive reinforcement training. Elroy seems to have not had much socialisation with dogs but could possibly live with another compatible dog. Elroy could live with children over 12 years.

Bridget

Bridget is a sweet dog that will become a very loyal companion giving some training and leadership. New owners wil need to commit to training, which wil help to build Bridget's trust and establish a bond with her new owners. If living in a low stress environment, without children or other pets, Bridget will blossom into a great little friend.

Lucky is a very social boy who craves human interaction. He gets a real kick out of playing ball and any other games really. He has good doggy manners and would be suitable to live with another dog pending meet. He's a very happy dog and would be ideal for an active family.

Donny is a sweet, young dog who loves human contact and will jump into your lap given the chance. He is still jumpy, however given he's still young and by employing such techniques as ignoring the behaviour and using positive reinforcement this behaviour can be addressed. His new owners would benefit from group training to help establish a bond.

Rosie

Rosie is quite a strong and independent dog, who once she gets to know you is a very sweet, loving girl. A family with older children, over 15 years, and no dogs would be ideal for Rosie. Rosie is best viewed out of her kennel, away from other dogs where he true personality can really shine.

Spud

Spud is in need of a loving and caring owner who has the time to spend boosting his confidence. He can be quite vocal with people he doesn't know when in his kennel, but when taken out his becomes very anxious and fearful. Given some space and encouragement, he becomes a friendly and gentle dog. Our trainers will work with the new owners to discuss suitable training methods.

Keith is a nice boy who likes his independence. He is not overly social with people, which may mean he hasn't had a lot of human contact in the past. New owners will need to be patient to establish a bond with Keith and enrolling in group training will help with this. He will need calm but firm leadership.

Hammi is a true detective who follows his nose - always! He's keen to explore and will sniff absolutely everything in his surrounds to get a sense of what's around him. He can be a bit smoochy and will climb into your lap for kisses and a play. Give his loves of all smells, he could do well at tracking, which will give him lots to sniff.

Harold

Harold is a very affectionate little dog who loves going for a walk and is very skilled at walking on the lead. Harold's perfect home would be in a household with older teens or adults. He would benefit from some group training to helpd establish a bond with his new owners. Harold is a lovely dog and his new family will find they have a very loyal little buddy.

Daisy is a beautiful girl  who is lacking in confidence. She is very timid and gets anxious around new people and in new environments. Positive reinforcement training and consistent leadership are needed to help Daisy to settle into a new family environment and our trainers will help by having one-on-one sessions with her new owners. Daisy is not suitable for living with another dog or children.

Angel is a lovely, little dog who love human interaction and will seek to climb up into your lap for a cuddle. She loves to go for a walk and especially having a play in the backyard. She can be a little jumpy and so would not be suitable for families with young children. She could live with another dog pending meet.

Robbie is an energetic dog who is very affectionate and will happily lay at your feet to receive belly rubs. He does lack a little self control and will jump on furniture if given the chance. He's a real people dog and would suit an active owner who will take him on outings and who has a lot of time to spend with him.

Spike is a sweet boy who takes a little time to get comfortable with new people and can be quite shy upon first meeting. He is quite an energetic litle dog so will need plenty of games and enrichment and would be perfect for an active family with older children. Spike will need calm and consistent leadership to help him settle in his new home and trust his new family,

Duncan

Duncan is a very inquisitive dog and gets very intrigued in his surroundings. He is a very energetic dog and he will require high levels of stimulation to prevent him from becoming bored. He would be the perfect jogging partner for an active family and would also benefit from agility training. Duncan is eager to help his owners and so will need a job to do. He will make a great mate dog!
