Moet's definitely not gun shy

I thought I would send the team, and all the Moet fans out there an update on how he’s doing.

He’s been with Paul and I now for 5 months. And apart from one horrible 24 hours when we thought we might have lost him, it’s been the most amazing time. I don’t know quite what I was expecting but I’m in love.

You would think after 13 months in the refuge he would be a little gun shy, but he’s not at all. He loves everyone and wants to meet every dog, and I mean every dog, that he sees. When they came to stay, my Aunt and Uncle from the Uk and friends from Sydney adored him from day one. I believe his friendliness is the result of the care that Jim and the rest of the Shenton family provided him while he waited patiently for us to find him.

He’s not perfect of course, that’s part of his charm. But we’ve been working with Simone, we call her “the dog whisperer”, and he’s settled down nicely. Only occasionally now does he lose his mind and run madly around our very small house like a crazy thing.

He loves his walks along the river, as do we. He especially loves loads of affection… nudging me for more when I stop. And his wrinkly frown pretty much guarantees a treat of some sort will come his way.

Everyone comments what a happy dog he is. I’m just glad we could give him the loving care he deserves – as all of your dogs do.

Kind regards

Lisa (and Paul)
