Annual 30-for-30 Fundraiser for the Dogs!

Saturday, 23rd June
3 men and a dog

James Pregnell, who will be joined by colleagues Gabriel Gnavi and Jeremy Thornett, will walk 30 kilometres with 30 of our dogs in a bid to raise much needed funds to help us continue our rescue and re-­homing work. This is the sixth time we’ve held this annual fundraiser and the support we receive each year is amazing and helps us to rescue and care for many hundreds of dogs throughout the rest of the year.

Internationally acclaimed artists, Gillie and Marc Schattner, not only love to paint dogs in their works of art but also love to support pooches in need. To support our Hounds Housewarming Appeal, Gille and Marc have donated a fantastic piece titled 'Sometimes you just have to say what the hell' which will go up for auction at the upcoming Quiz Night on Saturday, 9th June.

Santa Paws is back by popular demand

For the second year running, this December will see award winning photographer Alex Cearns from Houndstooth Studio set up her famous Santa’s Grotto at the Refuge. She’ll be joined by a very special Refuge personality who will be donning his Santa costume so that Perth’s much-­loved pooches can have their very own photo taken with Santa Paws.

Special advanced screening of "Red Dog" - 3rd August

The folks at Roadshow Films are soon to release a fantastic new movie, Red Dog, on 4 August which follows a red kelpie on his journey through Western Australia. And, to support for WA's dogs in need, we're having a special advanced screening of the film with all funds raised going directly to our dogs!
