Red is adorable. He was about 8 months when we got him, according to our vet, and he is wonderful. He particularly loves Cable Beach and surrounding beaches with rocks to climb and other dogs to greet, and is quite fond of the Saturday markets in Broome. He made the trip on the plane safely and was most unconcerned about being in the plane cage when he arrived.
We picked Pepper (formerly know as Flick), up from the Shenton Park Refuge when she was 9 months old and have never looked back. She was found roaming the streets in Wembley before being taken in and looked after by the Refuge.
To everyone at the Shenton Park Refuge - here are some photos of Poppy.
I have Ren and Stimpy who are brothers and are dear little dogs that I got from the Refuge in July 2004.
We just wanted to give you an update on our beautiful 3 yr old female Husky we got from the Dogs Refuge a few months or so ago. Originally called Kia we have renamed her Harlow.
Hi everyone at the Refuge! We have been meaning to send you an update for some time about Scoop, who I am sure you all remember as he was one of your long termers.
I have been a volunteer at the refuge for a very short period of time since early July 2010.
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for introducing Deano (actually, we re-named him Dino) to us!
Essential for all new puppy owners is the next Puppy Kindy course, which is scheduled to start on Tuesday, 31 August 2010 at the Refuge.
We adopted Doris back in April and wanted to let you all know that she is doing really well. We have been doing a lot of training with Georgia from Paws Print Training in reducing Doris’s stress levels with other dogs. She is doing really well in her lessons.
