We took Marvin home on a late January day as a four month old pup. We chose him from the refuge because he was the only dog that could get along nicely with Mum's two great big Golden Retrievers. We didn't quite know what he was at first because he was so small, we had no idea how big he might end up growing. A typical conversation at the park might go like such:
City Farmers is an incredibly generous supporter of the Dogs’ Refuge Home, so when we heard their Wembley store burnt down last year we were all devastated.
We first noticed Malley in September 2010 and Mannie fell in love with him straight away. Despite his 3 1/2 legs he was just running/hobbling around and was the biggest smoocher I had ever seen.
I thought I’d give you an update on Taya. I have had the pleasure and honour of owning this beautiful girl for three years now. She will be 8 years old in May and is doing very well, although getting up from lying down is starting to take a little effort.
I thought I would email to let you know how Ellen is going with myself, Peter and Douglas. We adopted Ellen in September 2010. I have been meaning to email sooner but I wanted to attach pictures but i lost my battery charger for my camera!
Maria and I thought we'd give you an update on how Jack (Hamish) is doing.
For months I have been intending to email you with a story of Harold. I have some great photos of him - a couple are attached. The story is mostly written and I will send it in soon.
Last weekend, we adopted “JayJay”, whom we’re now calling Carla. I just thought you would like an update on how she is settling in to her new home.
Just a quick update on Guinea, as I know you are probably wondering after he has already been homed twice and brought back twice!!
