Just thought we would write in again to let you know Lilly (Stella) is doing well. We have had her for three months now and she is such a sweet natured girl we cannot comprehend why someone would have ever given her up.
We adopted Cider in Feb and I thought it was about time I gave all of you guys at the refuge and update on how lovely Cider is doing!
My fiance Simon and I adopted Kiri (Chihuahua) on 7th August and we just wanted to share how much she loves her new home, and how much we love her!
Four weeks ago we went to the refuge for the second time looking for our first pet as a married couple. We were really excited to meet Indigo and we thought she was perfect for us after chatting to a volunteer.
Digby and I adopted Maggie (aka Flossy) in May 2012.
Hi three months ago not long after my beloved Roxy died I decided it was tim for a new dog, so I decided to adopt a dog.
Hello. We just thought we would send you a little update on how we are doing. I (Bear) spent some time at the dog’s refuge in August 2010 until I was picked up by my new mum and dad – Alex and Emma. Six months later they took me back up to try and meet a new friend – life can get pretty boring on your own. After 5 meets and greets in February 2011, we chose Hazel (or did she choose us? – whichever it was, we both had to go and have a bath before the refuge helpers would let us go home!).
We adopted Simon on 8th April. When he first arrived, it took a few weeks for his confidence to grow. He constantly had a worried look on his face. We tried many things to get him to play or chew bones but he didn't seem to know what to do with them. He behaved much much older than his two years. However, it's amazing what a bit of time and reassurance can do because you wouldn't recognise that same dog now!
Hi, I'm Memphis and I'm so glad my mums saw me at the Refuge.
We went to the Dog’s home on the 17th June looking for a pet since we had recently lost our beloved Monty, a Westie.
