Nothing beats a senior citizen

We adopted Monk, a10 yr old Lab two weeks ago!. He is so gentle and sweet, he is treated like a king in our home.

We take him for small walks each day and he loves it. Our cats have come around to not being scared of him, but he never bothers with them. Our daughter bought Monk a large bed, toys, fur coat and lots of treats!!!. He loves to be at our feet when we are watching tv and has the best manners!!!!. He lies on a large doona on the floor, then gets into his big comfy bed when he wants to.

We could not imagine our lives without him, the best day was the day he came home with us!!! We love him to bits!!!!.

Thankyou so much for all your help choosing our special senior citizen.

Regards June and Family :).

ps.... His arthritis is so much better with pills from our vet , he's like a big puppy !!!1

  • Monk 4 weeks on.........He is such a dear old soul, he loves his bush walks, i try and find different tracks each day, so he has new things to explore. He loves to sit at my feet when we get back from our walks, he knows i will give him a little treat. He has his large doona that he sleeps on during the day, he sucks this like it is a comfort thing, no holes in it, he just loves to suck it!. He chases the ball around the back yard and we struggle to keep up with his energy. He follows us everywhere, if we go to the kitchen, he comes to. He loves to be near us, and we could not imagine our lives without him. My parents both in their 80's bring over treats for him, they have fallen in love with him. he is such great company, as he and i have had many conversations!!!. He is the best dog my family has ever had. Thankyou to you all. Regards June and Family.
