COLORADO

Colorado was a favourite amongst staff and volunteers. He was known to some staff as Captain Caveman because he made a noise similar to the cartoon character when someone was taking too long with his food or when he wanted something (usually food).

He was demanding! Every day was the same for him, breakfast, out into the yard for a toilet stop, more food, cuddles and then back into his kennel. He would use his captain caveman voice around 2pm (treat time) and also around 4pm (afternoon feed time). He would also use it when he saw one of his favourite people.

Of course he was spoilt and he deserved it! Someone catered to his every whim, often taking his breakfast to the yard for him to dine alfresco style. He was often seen smacking Meg with his paws so she would give him a treat, something she used to 'obey' very well.

We will miss Caveman Colorado, he was a Mal with attitude and we hope he is happy at the rainbow bridge.
