I'd like to say a massive thank you for sending me Oompa to foster, I don't think I quite knew how much I missed having a dog in my life, We lost the family dog 2 years ago at the age of 15.

Oompa

I knew Oompa needed a lot of care but I didn't think I needed some healing too.

Oompa has this incredible ability to love no matter what, she is so fearless with that love for life and everything thats in it, that she shows it to everyone, anywhere and anytime.
Even when she was at her worst she'll brighten up to say hello to somebody. It's made me look at my own life and be more aware of what I do on a day to day basis, and choose to love the moments, the people and my life a lot more.

Oompa

We've all been enjoying helping Oompa over this fostering time, and now being apart of the family for good...Me especially :)

Thankyou again Karen and to everyone at Shenton Park and anyone that helps support you guys and donated to Oompa. What you do is amazing and life changing to both the four legged and the two legged kind.

Oompa and myself are willing and happy to keep drumming up support however, where ever and whenever we can.

Oompa

Lots of Love

Claire and Oompa xx

  • I understand the grief you must have felt when you lost your dog. I lost my beautiful Red Cloud Kelpie in 2012 at age 17 and was broken hearted, I still cry sometimes even now but I adopted another gorgeous little man in April 2013 from Shenton Park , a feisty little Terrier x, and he has wormed his way right into my heart. Shenton Park trainer felt he would be a good boy to have and she was so right. I'm forever grateful to her. I can't understand how his previous owner could have possibly parted with him, my gain and their loss. Dogs are very therapeutic companions and I'm glad to hear your buddy has helped you past it.

  • Well done all of you, Oompa looks fab and we all look forward to happy endings for our four legged family x We recently adopted a little boy who came to us a little worse for wear at only 10 months. The difference that regular food, clean bed, exercise and love make to us all, human and animals alike, is evident.
