My mum works at the dogs home as a volunteer, so I was lucky enough to find her not long after I was available for re-homing in early June 2009.

Compared to the streets where a ranger found me, life here in Subiaco is pretty wonderful. We live in a ground floor, two level apartment only 300 metres from the entrance to Kings Park, so I am lucky enough to have daily walks in the bush.
Settling in took a while, I was pretty scared of dogs, in fact I failed my cat and dog stress tests. So some training was needed to get me used to feeling relaxed around other animals. I was very nervous about being left behind at first, would only eat my biscuits if someone was standing next to me. I got over that after about 6 weeks.
I LOVE people and I'm very well behaved, with children especially. I know now that my mum is in charge, she looks out for me so I don't need to create a fuss around other dogs. Even walking off leash now is good fun, as I always come when called.
My next challenge is to get into some agility classes and learn 'the ropes' around those courses. With my energy, I think I will excel!
Thanks to the dogs home who took great care of me for nearly 8 weeks, life is sweet! Whoof!!
