I thought I would send you an update on my new life. My new owners, Alex and Emma, picked me up last Saturday. They are really lovely people and I am settling in nicely. I have also changed my name to Bear (much more me!) and am quickly learning to respond to it.
On Saturday afternoon I spent all afternoon with lots of people watching hockey and going shopping for more toys and bones on Sunday, as well as lots of walks. I have met and played with lots of other dogs and am now very happy to socialise with all dogs. I am getting lots of walks every day (2 even before Emma and Alex leave for work and another at lunch time plus a couple in the evening!) and as they live next to a park I get the chance to run around and play with my new four legged friends – and there are lots of those. When I am not being walked I am sleeping! I am not used to so much exercise but I am really enjoying it.
I am trying really hard to fit in and as a result am getting lots and lots of cuddles. The only thing I do that they are not too happy about is weeing in the house when I am left. I know that I am doing wrong and am really trying hard to stop doing it. Alex and Emma seem to understand that it is only a matter of time for me to get over this little hiccup and give me lots of praise when I don’t make a mess. Apart from this they seem to love me loads and are really pleased with me – I keep getting told what a good boy I am!

Oh beautiful, so happy Bear has found a loving home and is getting lots of cuddles. He always was such a cuddly boy at the refuge.
