We adopted Robin about 18 months ago from Shenton Park.

Robin

He is doing fantastic. We had a few difficult times in beginning but we got training advice which helped us with Robin.  We found that Robin was scared of cars and bicycles. We are still working on these issues with our weekly training class.  We changed his diet as he was having a few upset tummy's. This change in his diet has helped his behavioural problems and to pick up weight. We can not give him anything with preservatives in as this makes him a little too hyper.

He gets 2 walks a day and he loves walking. When we first got him he could not walk up the street without having to sit down. Now a days he can walk for 45 minutes and wants to keep going.

His daily diet is as follows,

Morning

Robin

2 x chicken necks
200gms Fresh Pet Mince
200gms Pasta
2 x Fish Oil Tablets

Evening

250gms Fresh Pet Mince
250gms Pasta
100gms Mixed vegetables
1/2 Apple
2 x Fish Oil Tablets

Robin

1 Fresh bone every 2 weeks and daily treats in various toys to keep his mind active.

I hope you enjoy photo's to see he is a happy boy and we love him to bits.

Thanks for caring for him, while he was at Shenton Park.

Thanks

Caroline & Paul

  • Thanks for updating about Robin - he was my absolute favourite when I first volunteered and he loved doing agility work. Have been checking for news of him so it's lovely to see photos and hear how well he is doing.

  • Robin is so very lucky to have been adopted by a family who love him as much as you do.
    Love his bed.

  • Lucky Robin to have fabulous parents who are so committed to his mental and physical wellbeing. He is doing fantastic because you believe he can be better and I bet the best is yet to come.
