Our little Roise aka Remi, which was adopted mid August. She is having a great time, she has settled in perfectly and is loved by everyone!

Rosie

We recently had a DNA test done and we found out that she actually isn't a Lab cross, she is a really very interesting mixer of Dogs, here they are:

On one Side (Ruby, Rosie's mum!)
Great Grandparents
Both parents were Pyrenean Mountain Dog crossed with both Rotweilers.
Grandparents:
Pyrenean Mountain Dog crossed with a Rotweiler.
That means Ruby's parents were Pyrenean Mountain Dogs crossed with a Rotweilers.

On the other side (Her dad's side)
Great Grandparents
Both parents were Chihuahua's (UK shown) crossed with both Italian Greyhounds.
Grandparents : A Chihuahua's (UK shown) crossed with an Italian Greyhound's.
That means Rosie's dad was a Chihuahua crossed with an Italian Greyhound.

Rosie

So Rosie is a Pyrenean Mountain Dog/Rotweiler cross crossed with  Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound cross. WOW!

We would love to meet up with any of Rosie's brothers and sisters to see what they are up too!

Many Thanks

The Giglia Family

  • Hi Guys

Griffy is having to have an operation on his front legs due to Valgus (his feet pointing outwards)

Is anyone else having this issue with their pups? Its genetic, due to their looooong body and itty bitty legs..

KEEP AN EYE ON IT IF SO!! And make sure you have insurance!!

    Xrays alone costing over $1k!

  • So great to know Rosie/Remi is doing well and is loved. But, WOW! what a mix!

We have Munsell (originally named Rosie when at the refuge) who is the sister of your Rosie.

We too would love to meet with any of the brothers and sisters. Not sure how to contact you.

There is a update on Munsell posted on the 24th of Oct if you're interested.
