Just wanting to wish everyone at Shenton Park Dog Refuge a belated Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year and to let you know how Ribbon (now called Ruby) is getting on. We have had Ruby now for 3 months and she is a very much loved member of our family. The attached photos were taken on Christmas Day with her Christmas collar on and opening one of her presents.

Opening her presents

The first few weeks with Ruby were quite exhausting as she found it hard to relax and was constantly on the move but she is so much better now and as you can see from the photo she can chill out quite easily now (even on Christmas Day !). She was also very reactive with other dogs but that is slowly improving and she has even made a friend called Rupert (a Dalmatian) at our local park. We have been going to obedience classes run by Pawprints which has been really helpful and she is doing well in those. Ruby loves her bed and she quite likes a massage on her tummy or back.

Ruby has so much love to give and we all adore her. Thank you Nathan for helping us to choose her and thank you to everyone there for the wonderful work you do.

Dead to the world

Regards

Laurie and Rex Breheny and Ruby

  • I love Ribbon (Ruby) or Wibbon as I would call her.

I miss her cuddles so much and I hope to see her at Pawprints sometime! She is adorable,

    Emma from the Refuge.
