For the second year running, this December will see award winning photographer Alex Cearns from Houndstooth Studio set up her famous Santa’s Grotto at the Refuge. She’ll be joined by a very special Refuge personality who will be donning his Santa costume so that Perth’s much-loved pooches can have their very own photo taken with Santa Paws.

Santa Paws in action

Again this year, the photo shoot is FREE and for a small donation of $10 (or more if you’re keen to help the dogs in our care) you’ll receive a high resolution digital version of the photo of your pooch and Santa Paws, which you can then use to print Christmas cards or print out and frame.

Alex will be at the refuge from 10.30am on Saturday, 10th December and is looking forward to seeing you with your best friend.

Needless to say, we are very fortunate to have such a highly awarded photographer as a supporter of our Home, so please take advantage of this bit of festive fun.

  • What a licky Santa- getting to cuddle beautiful dogs-and not screaming kids in teh middle of the mall! And bet the dogs don't want anywhere near as much "stuff" from him as the kids do! Most would settle for what's going on in this photo!

  • I wonder whether Jimmy would like Santa Paws! I hope so :) As long as he knows that he is coming home with me again!
