Savi is laid to rest under an old gumtree

In March 2009, we adopted Savi from the Shenton Park Refuge Home. She was 8 ½ years old at the time.

Savi Adoption

On 15 December 2014, we had to say farewell and let her soul move on. She is deeply embedded in our hearts and although it’s a sad time for us, we are celebrating the happy years. She was a wonderful companion, funny, energetic, cheeky and just a pleasant character. Now, she has a beautiful resting place by and old gumtree...

Attached is Christmas foto of Savi. With that, we wish the staff and all volunteers at the Dog’s Refuge Home a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. All the best for 2015!

  • Savi was one of my absolute favourites and I was lucky enough to have her out on sleepovers several times. She was one of the sweetest dogs. Thanks for giving her a great home and keeping us updated.

  • Thankyou so much for taking on an older dog and giving her so many happy years in a loving home, you should be proud! I'm sure you're sad to lose her but never forget that you made her life so much better while she was with you.

  • Oh dear Savi, I remember you when I first started volunteering over 10 years ago. You were quite dog reactive but look at you sitting with the 3 dogs. You were a long termer and everyone was so happy that you finally found a home of your own. RIP beautiful girl. Glad you got to have many wonderful years with a great family.
