Soda discovers her puppy side

We adopted “Soda” in January 2011. She is a delightful addition to our family.

We decided to adopt her as we know we have limited time with our Jack Russell “Trooper” and wanted to have another dog so there wouldn’t be a big gap in our lives. As it has turned out “Trooper” loves having a play mate and his epilepsy appears to be a bit more stable.

The 2 dogs constantly play and “Soda” has really settled into her new home. The only member who is still wary is “Mittens” the cat. “Soda” has learnt to socialise, has learnt manners such as sitting until she is told she can go to her bowl, the boys can take her out and let her off the lead when there are not too many other dogs around.

She has now found her “puppy” stage and loves playing with her toys and other things that don’t belong to her such as my slippers but she just adores being loved and she has so much love to give back to us. She even interacts with my parents 2 dogs who are Jack Russells.

Thank you so much she is such a lovely and gentle hearted dog who has so much joy and love to give our family.

  • How things change for these beautiful dogs when a bit of T.L.C. is given. Soda is so lucky to have Trooper as her brother and a fabulous family and friends.
