Dave Bowman from BHP Billiton Iron Ore is going back into the 'Dog House' on Saturday 5th December to help raise funds for our dogs and once again any donation will be matched by his employer BHP Billiton.

This means that as well as all donations being tax deductible in effect any donations made by our wonderful supporters will be doubled in size!

Last year Dave shared a kennel with a little puppy called Noddy who made a pretty big impact on Dave which is why he's agreed to help us again this year. Dave will be joined by his co-worker Kathryn Ackroyd during his day in the dog house. They will enter the kennel at 11am and stay there until late afternoon.

"I've always loved dogs and am very pleased to be able to support the Home in this way," says Dave.

"Sitting in the kennels last year really brought it home to me how much waiting so many beautiful dogs have to do before they get a new home, and I'm happy to do anything i can to help.

Working for BHP Billiton Iron Ore also allows me to make a much bigger difference than i could on my own, and i encourage all supporters of the Home to take advantage of the matched giving program by sponsoring me and helping Perth's homeless dogs."

PLUS if you visit us on Saturday 5th December we have a FREE garden workshop from 2pm to 4pm where you'll find out how to keep your dogs cool in the garden this summer!
