We rely on the wonderful support from our sponsors to survive. We are incredibly grateful to them and consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have the support of the following organisations.

City Farmers

City Farmers generously partner with us by providing treats, toys, beds, coats and ongoing support which makes the lives of our dogs better in every way. We could not be more grateful for all that they do. And they continue to support us in other ways too. For example, every time a new City Farmers store is launched, we are invited to join in the fun with a sausage sizzle, all the proceeds from which go to the Home.

We very much encourage you to support the organisations which support us. So please visit your local City Farmers store – the four legged friend in your life will probably thank you too!

Government of Western Australia

The Government of Western Australia is a significant contributor to the welfare of Dogs' Refuge Home of WA. Its annual contribution helps us to rescue and rehome Perth's lost and abandoned dogs, and promote responsible pet ownership throughout Western Australia.

With many hungry mouths to feed our food bill is ever-increasing. But when they heard of our escalating food bill Advance came to the rescue, and now provides food for all the dogs in our care – absolutely free of charge.

Being able to give our dogs great quality food makes such a difference to their health and well being. We are extremely grateful to Advance for their help and support and recommend Advance food to all dog owners.

Dogs Refuge Sponsor

The Dogs Refuge Home is delighted to have been chosen by professional services firm Deloitte as its Charity Partner in Perth for the 2015 financial year.

Deloitte employees were invited to nominate developing Western Australian registered charities to become their Charity Partner for the year. From a shortlist of nine charities, a final employee vote elected the Dogs' Refuge Home. Over the year, Deloitte employees will be applying their professional skills to the key focus areas of the charity including strengthening the organisational foundations, HR consulting support, finance and risk management and maximising efficiencies. They will also be able to volunteer their time to assist with fundraising, dog walking, foster care and office support.

BHP Billiton Iron Ore employees have been supporting our home for over five years, with eligible employee contributions matched through the BHP Billiton Matched Giving Program.

This generosity has made the biggest difference to the Dogs' Refuge Home and has helped us to survive during tough times. BHP Billiton may be a large corporate organisation, but it cares about the community and we have benefited incredibly from its support.

Osborne Park Volkswagon

We are delighted to have Volkswagon Osborne Park as supporters of our dogs and they are passionate about helping our dogs find loving homes. Their support helps to spread the word about our more precious pooches who are desperate to find a home through annual advertising worth over $11,000! They also support our events with prize donations.

All the gang at Volkswagon Osborne Park are genuinely nice guys and they've already made such a difference to the lives of our dogs with some featured dogs finding new homes. Thanks to everyone at Volkswagon Osborne Park on behalf of our dogs and if you're in the market for a new car, pop in and say hello.

Whistling Moose

A long term volunteer of the home (who regularly fills kongs with food each week to keep our dogs from getting bored in their kennels), Cathi from Whistling Moose Graphics also donates many hours a week preparing artwork for flyers, advertisements and promotional material.

Whenever you see a flyer or a newsletter promoting our dogs, the chances are that Cathi has undertaken the design work and we are eternally grateful for her commitment to our cause.

Tate Family Foundation

This wonderful, dog loving family started off a few years ago by donating a couple of industrial dryers and have since made many financial donations. As well, the Tate Family Foundation last year generously offered matched giving for our "In the Doghouse" fundraiser last year, up to the value of $20,000!

We are incredibly grateful for everything they've done for us and so lucky to have their support.

Shine Communications

Ruth Simpson from Shine Communications has been volunteering for the Dogs' Refuge Home for over seven years. Her PR skills are second to none and we are exceptionally lucky to have her as part of our fundraising and promotions team.

We've been in state and local papers; we've been interviewed on most of the radio stations in Perth and we've even made it on to TV – all thanks to her hard work and dedication.

If you think you've been seeing more media stories about the Home recently, well that's all thanks to Ruth.

Houndstooth Studio

Award winning pet photographer, Alex Cearns from Houndstooth Studio has been a huge help in giving our dogs the best chance possible of finding new homes.

Alex gave up a whole day and set up a studio at our Home to take the most amazing photos of our long term dogs which resulted in all of them finding new homes. For the last couple of years she has also taken hundreds of photo’s at our Santa Paws shoot helping us to raise thousands of dollars and she took the photos for our new online store.

Through Alex's help, the true personalities of our dogs has been able to shine through and capture the hearts of prospective families. We are very grateful for Alex’s support and generosity.
