Sponsors

We receive no government funding and the wonderful support from our sponsors enables us to survive. We are incredibly grateful to them and consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have the support of the following organisations.

City Farmers

City Farmers generously partner with us by providing treats, toys, beds, coats and ongoing support which makes the lives of our dogs better in every way. We could not be more grateful for all that they do. And they continue to support us in other ways too. For example, every time a new City Farmers store is launched, we are invited to join in the fun with a sausage sizzle, all the proceeds from which go to the Home.

We very much encourage you to support the organisations which support us. So please visit your local City Farmers store – the four legged friend in your life will probably thank you too!

Advance

With many hungry mouths to feed our food bill is ever-increasing. But when they heard of our escalating food bill Advance came to the rescue, and now provides food for all the dogs in our care – absolutely free of charge.

Being able to give our dogs great quality food makes such a difference to their health and well being. We are extremely grateful to Advance for their help and support and recommend Advance food to all dog owners.

BHP

BHP Billiton Iron Ore employees have been supporting our home for over three years. Their dedication is unwavering and twice a year they are involved with our main fundraising events, where every dollar raised (up to $50,000) is matched by BHP Billiton Iron Ore.

This generosity has made the biggest difference to the Dogs' Refuge Home and has helped us to survive during tough times. BHP Billiton may be a large corporate organisation, but it cares about the community and we have benefited incredibly from its support.

OzPacific

One of Perth's premier fine dining restaurants is also one of our most loyal supporters. Our dogs' tails start wagging even more than usual when the Coco's van turns up with leftover turkey. We even have a few envious volunteers and staff members for that matter!

Certainly, several dozen noses start twitching when the delicious food starts to be dished out (well, we figure they deserve some spoiling!). On top of this wonderful support, recently Coco's held a special fundraising event which raised several thousand dollars, a proportion of which was donated to the refuge. Thank you Coco's for your tremendous sponsorship.

Whistling Moose

A long term volunteer of the home (who regularly fills kongs with food each week to keep our dogs from getting bored in their kennels), Cathi from Whistling Moose Graphics also donates many hours a week preparing artwork for flyers, advertisements and promotional material.

Whenever you see a flyer or a newsletter promoting our dogs, the chances are that Cathi has undertaken the design work and we are eternally grateful for her commitment to our cause.

Shine Communications

Ruth Gourley from Shine Communications has been volunteering for the Dogs' Refuge Home for over seven years. Her PR skills are second to none and we are exceptionally lucky to have her as part of our fundraising and promotions team.

We've been in state and local papers; we've been interviewed on most of the radio stations in Perth and we've even made it on to TV – all thanks to her hard work and dedication.

If you think you've been seeing more media stories about the Home recently, well that's all thanks to Ruth.

Mailforce

We are very fortunate to have a loyal base of supporters who receive an update on the activities taking place at the refuge twice a year via our Chinwag newsletter. Whilst in the past we had a team of volunteers folding and inserting letters and newsletters into envelopes, as our database increased this became very time consuming.

Luckily for us Mailforce now manage all of this work, saving us huge amounts of time and money. These mailouts are vital for donations and the ongoing rescue work we undertake and we are incredibly grateful for the professional way our mailings are prepared and lodged. Thank you Mailforce, on behalf of everyone at the refuge!

Avery Dennison

Proud of our new logo and website we were very keen to promote our new look on our signage at the Home and out at Fairs and Shows. Unfortunately these important signage opportunities were outside our budget so we were delighted when Avery Dennison offered to produce these for us at no charge. As a worldwide leading manufacturer in self adhesive materials, signage and technology we were flattered that they considered the Home for this valuable donation.
