Spud is a couch potato

We adopted Ant and re-named her Spud – as she is the couch potato you mentioned on her dossier.

Spud

Thank you for matching her with us. She is just perfect and ticks all the boxes. Garry can’t believe what a perfect pooch she is (never naughty). We expected to have some sort of settling in problems, and had none. She was truly worth the wait. We have a laugh each day at her expense, her antics keep us highly amused. Garry is like a proud father and can’t stop bragging to everyone about how clever and quick to learn she is and her latest trick.

Garry and Spud adore each other and are joined at the hip. They have a daily walk at City Beach, go for drives to get the paper and petrol, garden together in the back yard and share an afternoon nap (both snore!). In the evenings Spud will either sit with us to watch TV or follow us around the house- never far from our sides.

She loves visitors (which we have plenty of) and is a welcoming committee in one, whining as everyone leaves. Spud loves to play tug of war and chasing a ball and every night when I arrive home, she expects her playtime before dinner. She has a wonderful way of communicating and talks to us all the time and we are learning what each exclamation means. She has given both Garry and I a lot of love and pleasure and we both absolutely adore her.

Thank you so much for our wonderful new addition to the family. Kind regards Cheryl

  • It is just so good to know that Spud has been given such a wonderful new life with people who love her as much as you two do.
Also, have to say - What a beautiful looking girl she is.
