Timmy is looking for a best mate

Timba is a cruisy, soft hearted, handsome boy who just wants to be your best mate.

Timmy is a lovely guy who loves being outside in the sunshine and going for long walks. In his foster home, when no one’s looking Timmy will find his lead and take it to his bed to make sure he never misses an opportunity to go out again.

He loves affection and attention and is happiest being around people, but can also enjoy his own company in the sun. Timmy makes a great running partner but is just as happy to lounge around inside and nap for hours at a time (especially if it’s rainy or wet out)

Timmy needs someone that is willing to spend time and train him to enjoy the company of other dogs as he can be quite choosy. While he is great company with humans and shows no fear or bother he is very unsure of other dogs. With patience, lots of reassurance and some extra training this can be overcome.

As much as we love having Timmy in our home we would love for him to find his forever home!

Timba's Vitals

DOB - MAR 2012 | Male | Staffy X Kelpie

Timba appears to be quite an easy going and non-demanding dog; he is very happy to interact and receive affection, but also happy to go off and explore or do his own thing. Apart from small amounts of jumping up initially he calms well and wants to please. He appears to be quite a confident and easy going dog who just wants to be with people.

MY IDEAL HOME: I need a home where I am treated like a mate. I would make an ideal tradies dog, or dog for someone wanting a dog simply to 'hang around' with, or a family that I can be an active member of.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: I enjoy an hour of activity daily and plenty of enrichment.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I could live with dog savvy children over 13 years.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS: Possible pending meet - I can be a little choosey with my doggy friends.
